Working at home has its perks. For the most part, it’s pretty awesome, however, there are a few potential negatives that also come with working from home. For me, one of the worst was my eating habits.
I found myself eating far too many convenience foods instead of taking the time to prepare something healthy (and likely more delicious), so it was time to kick this bad habit to the curb and come up with some easy healthy lunch ideas for home.
Wraps are a great easy healthy lunch idea, because like a sandwich, anything goes really for fillings, and they are a lighter option than bread. Have a mix of salad items and meat filling available for a quick and easy lunch wrap.
We like to pre-cook chicken schnitzels and cut them up into strips, or slow-cooked seasoned chicken breast is another favourite.
Using leftover roast meat from dinner or leftover rotisserie chicken can be a great way of using up the food you already have. Pretty much anything can work on a wrap.
