When it comes to putting up the Christmas tree, I tend to stick with tradition most of the time and the tree is usually up no later than 1st December. This year we went a day earlier since we were all home enjoying our Sunday, and like any special event these days as a parent, it had to mean a Christmas photoshoot.
So here are some of my favourites of miss almost 2, starting out in her PJs before mummy realised this was some photoshoot gold and changing her into her pretty christmas dress… that is still a tad too big.
She is perhaps a bit shocked by me throwing decorations around her!
But oh so pretty!
And needing a bit of a rest on the job!
I really love this close up one of her beautiful face. Those baby blues melt me every time.
Getting some help from daddy to put the decorations on the tree. He could have dressed a bit nicer haha
And yep the cat got decorated too!
Then a token pic with mummy that mummy has to ask daddy to take… but I should have done my hair first. It’s still puffy from the curls I had yesterday for Lily’s 2nd birthday party. Eeek. But it’s a lovely pic of her. (And some baby bump).
There is no doubt I love a home photo shoot. I am by no means a great photographer but I am working at it with practice and experimentation. Photoshop is also my great friend. You can also check out my recent pregnancy announcement photoshoot which was a bit of fun.
Do you do an annual Christmas photoshoot with your kids each year? Do they comply? It was a lot easier when Lily didn’t move so much 😉
